Flock – The Social Web Browser
Are you using Gmail or Yahoo! Mail? Or you’re actively writing a blog in WordPress, Blogger, or any other blogging service? Or you just love showing off your photos using Flickr or Picasa? Or maybe you just want to waste your time hanging-out in Facebook everyday? If one of these is your case, then you should consider using Flock.
Flock is a web browser based on Mozilla that offers many features to give you the most exciting experience in surfing the net, especially social services, with ease. Flock makes it easy to share photos and videos, reach friends across multiple networks, and stay fully connected no matter where you are on the web.
When you use Flock and log into supported service such as Facebook, Gmail, or Youtube, Flock will automatically activate these services within its features. These services will be listed on the Account and Services sidebar. Flock has many sidebars: People, Feeds, Favorite Sites, Account and Services, and Web Clipboard. People sidebar will show all of your friends as long as you logged in to your social services. With this sidebar you can share photos, videos, feeds, and text from web pages by dragging and dropping. Web Clipboard sidebar is useful when you want to save text, links, or images from any website for later use. If you are enjoy following your favorite websites or friend’s blog by subscribing to their feed, Flock has Feeds sidebar. It’s already filled with Flock default feeds but you can delete them and replace with your own interest.
Sounds cool, huh? So what are you waiting for? Grab Flock for free from their download page and start experiencing the fun.
Oops, one more thing. You might notice the “Blogged with the Flock Browser” text at the right-bottom of this post. Yup, I write this post using Flock Blog Editor. Those text will show up if you check the Add “Blogged with Flock” to the end of your post option in Flock Blog Editor.
